My inkjet Canon Maxify printer is blocked and I want to replace a cartridge.

On your printer, cartridge replacement is only provided when a cartridge is detected as empty. However, there is a procedure for removing a cartridge before it is considered empty by the printer. The procedure consists of manually rotating gears inside the printer. You can watch the video on this page.
